Splendor Valley Farms Utah intends to be the premier Agricultural Tourism ("AgriTourism") operation in Summit County. We define AgriTourism as:
  • Supporting and enhancing Summit County's family farms and historical ways of farming by maintaining viable small-scale/historic agricultural operations and their essential rural setting in Summit County
  • Providing the County's culture to the broader stakeholders in the area, including CSAs, private chefs, restaurants, residents and visitors (tourists)
  • Providing education, work opportunities and food services
  • Offering access to the fabulous year-round activities Summit County has to offer from winter activities, including skiing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing, to summer activities in the nearby Uinta National Forest, including hiking, camping and fishing
Skiing Locally
We expect to see purchasers of our products and other products, other providers, customers and students availing themselves of the agricultural education courses we will offer.
